§ 92.18. BURNING HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE OR WASTE.

  • (A) Definition. For the purpose of this section the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
    HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE OR HOUSEHOLD WASTE. Food products or byproducts or materials containing fecal matter or other human or animal body waste. HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE OR HOUSEHOLD WASTE shall not mean paper products, unless the paper product contains fecal matter or other human or animal body waste.
    (B) Prohibition. It shall be unlawful for any person to burn, to cause to be burned, or permit to be burned any household garbage or household waste. This section shall not apply to the burning of leaves, twigs, or similar yard waste.
    (C) Enforcement. It shall be the responsibility of the office of the Marshal to enforce this section.
